So I was looking at my local Craigslist tonight and came across a listing for cartridges that were found in someone's attic. The guy was asking $20 for the 17 carts, but didn't specify what they were. There was a small picture and I can recognize the bottom ones as Odyssey 2 carts, and I think the top left are Atari 2600. Can anyone tell me what the maroon labeled ones on top are?

The maroon ones at the top are Intellivision carts I believe.

Do my assumptions about the other carts seem correct?

Of the two Atari carts on the top left, the one on the left is an Atari 2600 cart, the one on the right is an Atari 7800 cart. The ones to the right of the Atari cart are, as said before, Intellivision carts. The ones below are, as you suspect, Odyssey^2 cartridges.

Gracias mucho. I'll update when I pick them up as to the specific games.

Yeah they're INTV carts. I'll even go out on a limb and say that the one on the right looks like it says "Star Strike".

It looks as if the 2600 cart is Asteroids I believe, and its a bit hard to make out but I bet the 7800 cart is Dig Dug.

$20 sounds average if they are commons. Let us know what you find!

Just got an email back from the seller. The games included are as follows, and I'll try to list them for what system I assume they are for. He didn't specify.

Dig Dug (7800)
Speedway (2600)
Spinout (Odyssey 2)
Asteroids (Odyssey 2)
Pick Axe Pete (Odyssey 2)
Computer Intro! (Odyssey 2)
Pocket Billiards (Odyssey 2)
Out of this World (Odyssey 2)
Freedom Fighters (Odyssey 2)
S.I.D. the Spellbinder (Odyssey 2)
Alien Invaders Plus (Odyssey 2)
K.C.'s Krazy Chase (Odyssey 2)
Cosmic Conflict (Odyssey 2)
Lock 'n Chase (Intellivision)
Star Strike (Intellivision)
Space Battle (Intellivision)
Night Stalker (Intellivision)

So the guesses about Dig Dug and Star Strike were definitely spot on. Thanks for clearing up the systems for me guys, cuz the seller is clueless. Any opinions? The lot worth $20 based on quality of the games and value? I know these are all commons but are they any good?

If you have an O^2, you've gained hours upon hours of fun with Pick Axe Pete and KC Munchkin. KC's a "Pac clone" with some interesting twists while Pick Axe Pete is just frenetic platforming fun. Both are classics on the system.

As for value... I'd say it's probably a bit above average, but if Odyssey 2 value ever goes up across the board it'd be a steal.

Speedway for the 2600? Is that even existent? From what I've found out about it, it was only released in sequel form as Speedway II, and it didn't have the blue cover art on the front of the cart.

No you're right, sorry about that. Like I said I was just guessing on which was which based on how the email grouped them. Speedway must be on the same cart as Spinout.

Well, the Intellivision carts are commons, but Lock N' Chase (a Pac-Man wannabee), Star Strike (a simplistic recreation of the Death Star trench battle), and Night Stalker (a pretty fun maze game - PROTIP: use both controllers, one to move and the other to fire) are pretty good commons. Space Armada is a throw-away.

By Space Armada do you mean Space Battle? Space Aramada isn't on the list but isn't that a Space Invaders knockoff?

Oh sorry, I read that as 'Armada' for some reason. Well, Space Battle was a Battlestar Galactica game originally, and it's going to be a bit difficult to play without overlays. It's a little better than Space Armada, but it's still one of my least played Intelly games.
