Between this, Resident Evil, and the upcoming Street Fighter II (which reunites "Universal Soldier" co-stars Jean-Claude Van Lumpy Forehead and Dolph Lundgren), I believe Capcom is now the undisputed leader of games gone Hollywood.

That might be a title to be ashamed of... :(

Movies about warlords set in the 16th century are particularly tough to pull off, I'd imagine. Hopefully that 50 million dollars goes into some research and a decent story line.

I dunno, good Samuri movies arn't that hard to pull off. And Resident EVil was good, I don't care what anyone says, but I only talked to 2 people that didn't like it, so nana :rocker:

I'd go see it. I think it would be an awesome dark scarry movie. I'm willing to bet the love story will be over the top and the special effects will make the film real cheesy. AND don't forget about the hundreds and thousands of peasants that get slaughtered. Cant forget that part.
I actually loved RE and thought it as great that the Zombies didn't show up until they were on their way out. Good scares when there arent even zombies around, but you know they are coming.

An article about movie-games:
http://www.eonline.com/Reviews/Movies/Scoop/Archive2003/030606.html?fdfour3
Among the flicks mentioned are Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Dead to Rights, Driver (which was apparently based on a 1978 movie called "The Driver" -- did anyone know that? I sure didn't), DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball (heh!), Pac-Man, and Hydro Thunder. The article also mentions that Ah-nold thinks Pumping Iron would make an excellent videogame, and I agree that a bodybuilding "sim" would be a hoot.

I loved RE. I dig zombie movies, it could have been as cheesy as the original night of the living dead, and I still would have loved it.

I read teh article. I liked the idea of a pitfall movie. It might torn out to be like Raiders of the Lost Ark, but that would be cool.
