I won't be able to search any tomorrow since I am packing. I've spent most of the day sleeping and hunting, so I will need time tomorrow to get ready for the move. Anyway, I hit two flea markets and a thrift store. The thrift store turned up nothing.
At one Flea Market I found
(These are for the Atari 2600)
Mash
Porky's
Trick Shot
Bank Heist
Robot Tank
Crystal Castles
Swordquest Earthworld
Beany Bopper
Turmoil
Word Zapper
International Soccer
Amidar
Fantastic Voyage
Pukkmen(it has a pac-man picture and looks bootleg)
I think I spent around $20 for these. I know I over-paid, but I needed these games and it is my last weekend of hounding in Tampa. I splurged.
and for the Atari 5200
Dig Dug (boxed, no instructions)
Keystone Kapers (boxed, no instructions)
These were $5 each
At the other flea market I found a boxed Nes power pad for $5
I hope everybody else is finding good items!

all I could find were games from the regular guy who sells games at every flee market. only other game related stuff I could find was a Game Gear with 3 games for $60 which i left behind. was kinda depressing, it's the biggest flee market in the area and i didn't even spend over $30..

Portnoyd and I just spent three hours rummaging through town. Pompton Lakes is having it's "community garage sale" this weekend. What a bunch of junk. Between us, we came away with a half dozen loose (but decent titles) NES carts, 2 or 3 Genesis carts, and - the score of the day - a complete NES Power Pad. We must have hit 50 different yard sales and the central flea market set up in the high school parking lot.
I think I can safely say that my area has run completely dry. Some of that is my fault, of course :)

Well, this weekend was my birthday, so I wasn't planning on going hunting. But one of my friends who was visiting decided to take the opportunity of being in The Big City to buy himself a PS2. So I tagged along and had a look round the game shops. Only found . . .
Saturn Gamester Joypad
But the guy gave it to me for £1 ($1.60), so that was good.
I also discovered why there are no decent Megadrive games in one of the shops I visit. The guy behind the counter takes all the good ones as soon as they come in :x
Oh well....

:D I hit the freakin' Commodore 64 motherlode at a garage sale yesterday. Lady had 4 boxes of games (some with boxes, most all with instructions), a couple of drives, utility programs, joysticks, but no C-64.got a few of those though already. But the games are a great find around here...I haven't seen this many in a long time...I estimate about 100 disk, all original and a bunch of pirates!!!

great C64 fiind Keepr! I love finding boxed classic C64 Games. I really don't think there is anything more nostagic for me then a good C64 find or Amiga find.
And welcome to Digitpress!

I am new to digital press but have been collecting NES games and accessories for about 5 months now. I just found a Mint copy of the US version of Stadium Events for $4.99. I thought it was a lie but I sent the money and in a week the game arrived. I about died. I also have 2 of the 3 Panesians but need Peek a Boo Poker. I would also to get the opinion of a serious NES collector to find out what the top 10 rare NES games are
Thanks,

I have to agree with DP, yesterday's 300+ garage sales yielded so little. So much crap...

Saturday all I got was a Space Invaders Handheld by Entex from 1980 for $2. The lady also had a box of Atari 2600 games behind the table that she was going through. There was about 40 games, a Kid's Controller with a couple of overlays, and manuals for most of the games. She said she just got it all for $1 was planning on keeping for her kids. There was nothing really rare, but I was still pretty bummed about missing that deal. Thankfully, Sunday helped to ease the pain. Here's what I got:
Sega Master System Store Demo Unit with 8 games inside:
Ghostbusters
Great Football
Penguin Land
Great Basketball
Great Golf
Rocky
Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Enduro Racer
It is in really good condition and works. The guy said $20, but before I could start to reach for my money he "nevermind, I'll take $10. I just want to get rid of it".
Atari 7800 with power supply , 2 7800 joysticks, 2 2600 joysticks, and paddle controllers with 12 games (all for $5):

Didn't find anything this weekend (Didn't go anywhere, actually). I just stayed inside and got FFIX over with. Now all I have to do is beat 2j and 10, and I'll have all the Final Fantasy games beaten! I did order Star Strike for Sega CD from Good Deal Games...

I usually don't have an opportuntiy to go looking, but this weekend I was in Alexandria, VA visiting my brother, and things were different. We drove out to VA Friday night. What should have been a 4-5 hour drive ended up being about 9 hours, thanks to an accident that closed down the interstate we were on, followed by some truly awful directions given to us by a very nice, friendly, but apparently inbred old coot at a gas station.
We finally arrived in Alexandria, at my brother's apartment, about 6am Saturday. We went inside, deposited our things, and went to a diner for breakfast. After breakfast, for some inexplicable reason, I was still riding my second wind and not feeling very tired, so Noah & I went garage-saling. I almost never get to do so.
I came home with:
Complete, in the box, Star Trek TNG Interactive Videocassette Board Game ---- $2
Vince Giuraldi Peanuts Holiday Specials Music CD --- $1
Hardcover Steven Hawkings - A Brief History Of Time -- $0.50
2 LPs - The Graduate soundtrack, James Taylor - Sweet Baby James -- $0.10 each.
A Power Glove! I've never seen or used one, but it looks like it has connectors for the Genesis, the NES, and the Playstation. -- $1
Sony Playstation Twisted Metal III --- $5
The Catcher In The Rye -- $1 -- I've never read it, and it looked brand-new.
All in all, I was pretty happy with the haul. I spent more on tolls on the trip home than I did for all the goodies.
