- Konami will release Hudson's Famicom Collection Vol. 1 Cubic Lode Runner for GameCube in Japan on July 10, for 3000 yen. The game is a remake of the classic 8-bit Famicom / NES action game Lode Runner. The remake version features 3D and 2D graphics, 60 stages and an Edit Mode for creating custom stages. The BGMs are also rearranged.

The GameCube remake version will feature upgraded 3D graphics and characters, while the gameplay remains in 2D. There are a total of 10 stages, the game modes include Attack Mode, Normal Mode, 2 Minute and 5 Minute Modes.
