I'm looking for weird, different, fun, crazy PS1 games. Kinda like Rising Zan, Looney Toons Sheep Raider, or Intelligent Cube. You know weird, fun, not to serious types of games. Price doesn't matter. Maybe Japanese.? Any help?

Oh, go for Incredible Crisis.
That game is so funny and fun. You follow along the stories of four characters and complete many mini games to get through their long, crazy day. It was one of my favorites when I was a teenager. It came out in 1999.

Mr. Mosquito.
Devil Dice (Not too weird...but very unique and challenging. A great party game.)

No One Can Stop Mr. Domino - crazy Japanese humor in the vein of Katamari Damacy.

LSD is perhaps the strangest home video game ever to see a retail release on any platform.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD_(video_game)
It's only appeared on eBay a couple of times over the last 5 years, but you can get a copy from Yahoo!Japan without too much trouble (if not costing you a few dollars in the process). No knowledge of Japanese is required at all to play it.

I don't know anyone who didn't like the Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Quirky spin-off of Mega Man Legends, but actually better than the original game.

Yaroze Homebrew games. Doesn't matter which. Most of them are instant trip-fests.
That aside, N2O is a good suggestion as is Vib Ribbon (which also came out in Europe but is probably easier to pick up the Japanese version of). So surprised no one's mentioned PaRappa yet.

Try:
Roll Away
Tecmo Stackers (for the crazy soundtrack)
Devil Dice
Poy Poy (best with four players)
One Piece Mansion
Any of the Point Blank games

Tail of The Sun gets my vote. Also, any game by Artdink or Agetec, No One Can Stop Mr. Domino included.

I would've loved this game... if only it wasn't a button masher. *shrugs*

Incredible Crisis and also try Courier Crisis. Courier Crisis (since it hasn't been mentioned yet) is fun and has lots of stereotypical characters and racing madness (Think early GTA but delivering packages while running over/kicking dogs and flipping off traffic!)

It's expensive but I must state Rakugaki Showtime. It's great with friends and can be quite frantic at times. I liked this game from the very beginning but I'm not blind to see it can be cheap and frustrating at times. All the same, best enjoyed in groups.
I'm going to throw in a vote for Jumping Flash. One of my early PS1 favorites
I was scanning the thread to see if anyone else had said it...
Jumping Flash and Jumping Flash 2 are among my favorite games for the system. You simply can't miss with them!

I agree that this game is good, but gets quite challenging in later levels. You won't imagine where the final newspaper in the game needs to be delivered. I won't spoil it for you but I'll just say you need to jump off a ramp that makes go high into the sky. I bought all the cds that were used as soundtracks in the game except for Cardiac Kids and Hot Chicken Stew who I was luckily able to get the music from directly for free. Unsigned and indie bands rock sometimes.
I will also second Roll Away. Think of a puzzle solving maze where you play as a beach ball and you have it. Get the key and find the exit before the time limit runs out. There all kinds of quirks and items that have strange effects too.

I've got another recommendation for those who enjoy "cartoon" racers: Motor Toon Grand Prix (http://www.game-rave.com/psx/playstation_perfect_guide/releasedgames/motortoon/index.html). One of the developers was Kazunori Yamauchi, who later went on to create the Gran Turismo series (in fact, there's a hidden mode called Motor Toon R, which was an early build of the first Gran Turismo). The only catch? It's going to be a little tough to find since it's an R7 (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=27027).

Quoted for Truth there, one of my favorite racing games ever. And I never knew about the hidden mode...

Bust-A-Groove 1 and 2 are both very fun and have extremely catchy music(I now own the soundtracks). I'll also throw in another vote for Incredible Crisis(just wait until you get to the massage mini game) because I just won the Japanese version of it. And I see that someone else has already mentioned Pepsi Man. Definitely get that. It's a very funny cartoonish foot racing game. I even hate pepsi but the game's fun factor can not be denied.

I haven't played Jumping Flash 1, but I have played Jumping Flash 2, and that is easily one of my favorite games on the PS1.
It's just so wild, crazy, trippy. Great game.

Ahh some of my favorite games have appeared in this thread already.
Courier Crisis is fun. I'm actually still looking for a good copy of it for my own collection. I haven't played it in years but I have extremely fond memories.
Incredible Crisis is crazy but is an interesting button masher. Worth a playthrough for sure.
Skullmonkeys is also a pretty great platformer. Not as good as Klaymen's first adventure on the PC but still pretty good :)
