Genesis Controller question

Hey all.

Ill be getting a shiny US Wily Wars repro cart from forum member bratwurst soon, and I was looking at Genesis controller options to imitate an NES style controller.

My immediate thought was Sega Master System (a Honey Bee mdoel caught my eye, it had an NES style dpad) but the problem is that I cant switch weapons without the third button.

So my question is, are there any 3 button controllers for Genesis with a regular flat dpad and the buttons straight in a line like the NES pad?

there is a controller that resebmles the snes controller, 4 face buttons and 2 shoulder buttons. i dont remember what its called, but i noticed it in the "controller options" for wwf wrestlemania the arcade game.

I actually have this controller, I believe. it has the colored face buttons like an SFC controller.

Im thinking something more along the lines of.. a PC engine avenue pad 3, with 2 straight buttons at least.

I don't know of any NES style pads, but asciiware made an SNES style pad. I don't remember off hand what the dpad is like.
