Hey here's a video I made last year of a retro arcade...

And check this, it's several streets away from the Atlantic Ocean

it's amazing how retro arcades still do well in business these days when they're in a tourist enviornment

Man, I want to be there right now. Mainly on account of the weather, but the inside of that arcade is pretty clean.

Arcades are doing better in this economy because of the cheap entertainment factor.

Something I found funny about this vid, is the transition of sound

First laid back jazz music, then 20 seconds later, I hear lasers firing lol

Yeah, you need to fight with that Ghouls and Ghost machine coin drawer. I use the right slot to insert credits rather than the left.

I was actually going to post pictures of Flipper's a few weeks ago, guess I'll throw them in here if you don't mind. I resized so they are well under 100KB each.

Then a closer look at some of the machines not mentioned; the marqees and screens should speak for themselves. :)

And my absolute favorite machine there:

Oh, and the reason the place looks so dead is due to Winter. Off-season there is little traffic at the beach front so we practically get the arcade to ourselves on Sunday afternoons/evenings.

I spent my prom night at that arcade years ago.

I lead a sad and solitary existence.

I see Konami's other wild-west themed shooter on display! Now C.O.W. boys...the more famous one. Drawing a blank even though I can hear the stage one music in my head... :)
