Hi guys,
Quick question for you. I have a copy of Spider for the PSX (US Release). My copy appears to have been published by Take 2 but every cover image/writeup on the game that I've seen on the net has it as being published by BMG.
Anyone know why this discrepency exists? Is my copy a second print run?

Pic/scan of yours?
I'd say a second print run, though I'm hardly an expert on it. I do recall hearing a lot about the game later on in the system's life(and well after the initial game release), though I don't recall seeing any copies published outside of the usual BMG.

Sorry for the crappy pictures.
As you can see, everything is branded Take 2 (including the insert)

Take 2 did buy up BMG Interactive way back when, so that's gotta be another print run.

Good ol' Boss studios. They made a ton of great games back in the day.
Too bad I never got to play this one. I always thought it looked cool but could never find a copy locally.

For what it's worth, mine is a Take 2 copy as well. I remember my grandma bought me and my cousins each a copy at Meijer when it had dropped to like $14.99. Or maybe it was never that expensive to begin with.

Yup! BMG was the publisher for it over here.
However, I wouldnt say its a 'cool' game... If you want a 2.5 platformer, play Klonoa...

Thanks guys. I was just going through my PSOne games yesterday and noticed that every bit of info I could find online for this one mentioned BMG and no one else.
I figured it was probably something as simple as a second production run but wanted to make sure :)

The game had two runs. The original run was the BMG, and Take2 came later.
