I have a rather mint factory sealed xbox (halo edition). I bought it new, and it's been sitting on a shelf for years.
What do you guys think it might be worth?
Thanks in advance!

I've seen them sell for $100 to $125 used and up to $200 new on Ebay in recent months.

Yeah, I have seen them used. But I haven't seen a factory sealed one sell recently. I was hoping maybe somebody would either know about an auction, or remember a recent one.
Thanks.

I watched an auction for a new system about three months ago that ended at $203 and another $15 shipping. It looked pretty minty to me, but I didn't bid on it. The auction I recall before that which was around six months ago ended at around $180 with another $20 shipping. I have seen people try to list them with a BIN of $400 or $500, but those have never sold. Depending on the market, you might be able to get $250, but I doubt much more than that.

You should have sold this about two or three years ago. Back then you could have gotten $500-700 for a factory sealed one. Today the price has nose dived to a more reasonable $150-250.

Especially now that there are actually some really neat looking themed Xbox 360s including the Halo 3 version and the RE5 version which are much more detailed and interesting than what Microsoft tried to call a Halo special edition box in the Xbox days consisting of just a different color sort-of see-through green case and a couple of logo markers on the system and controller jewel.

The Halo 3 one is quite detailed. The RE5 one is just a red shell. Thats less detailed than the Halo XBox. At least that one says Halo on it.

The irony is that the Halo LEs for the Xbox1 were just extra debug shells with "non-defective returns" parts stuffed inside

Really? My understanding is that they produced over 200,000 of them. How did they have that many extra shells and non-defective return parts to create that many units?
