Noob SMS Question

Greetings all,

Was just curious if there was a way to identify caseless and manual-less SMS games..Just have a few carts and am clueless as to how to identify whether they're PAL or USA in origin...And they are cartridges, not cards.

The games are:

Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap
Lord of the Sword
Rastan
Fantasy Zone: The Maze

In most cases the carts are virtually identical. There are some carts (like the Activision games or blue label re-releases) that are obviously different, but for the most part Europe and America used the same carts.

There are a few examples I can think of off the top of my head where the US carts are different, such as:

Moonwalker (US) becomes Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (Europe)
Super Wonder Boy Super Wonder Land (US) becomes Wonder Boy in Monster Land (Europe) - although there is some overflow of the other in both places.
Captain Silver (Euro) becomes Captain Silver (US) with 1 MB of the game cut out :'(

I believe R.C. Grand Prix is different, too, but otherwise I'm pretty sure they are all the same. The games you've mentioned, at any rate, are the same.
