stepdown transformer for pecngine duo in UK

Hi

I have a Japanese PC engine duo-r and am based in the UK. I have been told I will need a stepdown transformer to use it. I have seen a 230V to 110V, (Input voltage 230V AC, Output voltage 110 AC, 45W) transformer. Is this the one I will need?

Yep, that's the type you will need. What is the power rating on the PC Engine? You should get a step-down that's rated at least 25% more than the requirement of the item you're using it on. But I figure 45W should be enough.
