Max Payne 3 Gets Announced/Updated With Story And Gameplay Info

It's about damn time. After that lackluster movie a redemtion is in order. However, Remedy(the makers of the first two games) isn't making this one so I'm not sure how much redemption we'll actually get. But I loved the first two games and can't wait to see what they do with the third (http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/max-payne-makes-it-a-triple-shot/?biz=1) one. However, this is one of the few games that I don't think would lend itself too well to co-op multiplayer because of the story. But again, we'll see how it turns out.

Remedy(creators of Max Payne 1 and 2) are still working on Alan Wake. Thats why they aren't making this game.

Not a great surprise to me that Remedy isn't working on it because it's unclear how much work they did on it, and how much Rock* did.

I'm glad both developers are making these new games, and I'm pretty interested in Alan Wake, although I'll definitely want to see reviews first. Rock* has the stuff it takes to pull of Max Payne 3, of that I'm absolutely certain. They've pretty much been making "Robert De Niro (or; insert actor here) is Max / Bickle in Taxi Driver" the last decade or so anyway :D

Speaking of which, I see there was news of a sequel to that movie.

Agree. I didn't read the article thoroughly so I din't see the dev switch. Could be interesting.

Just updated the main post. The game looks good but I'm not very fond of Max's new look. He looks like an out of shape Sam Fisher, but as long as the game plays great that won't even matter.
