Unreal Tournament 3 Titan Pack PS3

Dunno how many of you care, but the PS3 just got a great download for this game, actually amazing.

Adds trophies (very kick ass ones), game stability, direct mod downloads, new game mods, new title screen and most of all split screen. It's like a whole new game.

Also the download is free.

PC users got the pack too.

Though it still crashes if you don't install a particular driver, and nowhere does the game tell you to do it. :p

Yea, I am very seriously considering getting this game now even though I just got killzone 2. I have heard it is cheap as well.

It adds "okay" trophies(although like gamerscore, trophies suck.) You forgot the addition of turning into a Titan and Behemoth the more you do extended(double, triple, etc) kills.

I'll probably pick up another copy of UT3 again. I still find the UT series to be the cream of the crop as far as multiplayer goes, but the vehicles don't control well enough to convince me of that newer aspect of the series.

How many people are still playing this game? I've had my eye on UT3 since it hit $20, but I'm a bit apprehensive. Older PS3 online shooters are notorious for having little to no online community, while the 360 version still thrives. I've been stung by this situation before.

UT3 actually has alot of people regularly playing on it. Pretty easy to find a room with a good amount of people no matter what time of day you're playing.

I bought UT3 a few months ago, but still haven't played it. Thanks for this update, I will play it now (finally!). I still have MGS4, Resistance, and time crisis to play (I refuse to buy any more ps3 games until I play em all).

hmm since I've never played ut3 before I'm not sure if this titan thing is installed... I'm not seeing it under Mod packs so did it just do it automatically when it made me install a few other updates?

No sir. You have to go into the Playstation Store and download it. It's 550 megs, and has some great stuff (split screen!)

Got it thanks. Weird when I got the add-ons for Warhawk (only game I've actually played) it was all done in game.

I think that trophies and split-screen added in a previous patch before the Titan Pack was released if i am not mistaken, or were more trophies added in the trophies pack? But this Titan Pack seems to be pretty good anyway :)

It's possible trophies and split screen were patched in before the titan pack as I hadn't played the title in a while.

All I can say is playing split screen Torlan (classic) with Titan mode as a Banana and fighting Pac-Man and the Ghosts and using the mods Bullettime, Gibalicious, Berserk and Low Gravity is something I never thought I would experience on a console, only pc's usually get these kinda kick ass awesome mods, it's great! We were laughing our balls off when the Pacman Ghosts got Titan mod, major ROFLAO. Hardcore stuff.

Ye, i recently bought Unreal Tournamet for the PS3 because i heard about the upcomming Titan Pack and i wanted to check it out. But before i got the Titan Pack i was told by the game that there was an update when i first started the game, and after i downloaded this patch i had trohpies and i am pretty sure that i saw "split screen" on the main menu as well :)

I dont remember if the Titan Pack was already out before i downloaded this patch though, so maybe the Titan Pack also adds trophies and splitscreen mode without having to download the patch that i downloaded, and/or that the patch that i downloaded was something that came with the Titan Pack for those who didnt want to download the whole Titan Pack, but still wanted trophies and split screen added to the game :)

Wow, this sounds pretty cool! I havnt gotten around to try out so many mods for Unreal Tournament 3 myself yet. That Banana, Pacman, Sonic, Mario, etc sounds especially interesting. I will try these mods, thanks for the tips! :)
