Loving the Devil's Dictionary quotes. Will keep a lookout for that Pentium D, but alas I think the closest I'll come at a thrift will be a stock cooler some months ago (chip long gone of course).

Actually, I'm not sure how likely it is to find a Pentium D with cooler (they are out there though)...being LGA775 you should have no trouble finding a third-party cooler if need be, though.
