I seem to remember seeing an thread/article somewhere on the web and some pictures of 6 or 8 of them. I remember they look like a normal Nes cart but there black. I also remember I think, that they were from Hong Kong or Korea of something? Anyways whats the story? Any help, links would be great! I can't seem to find anything.

the most common ones are from brazil, look up a company called gradient and you should come across some info on em. I personally own ghostbusters (looks nice on a black cart) super amarios and crimebusters.

I've got a HUGE collection of bootleg and Brazilian (pretty much the same word haha) NES games.

Many are black cartridges made by NTDEC, CCE, Gradiente, Dismac, Dynacom, Interactive, Milmar, VIC, etc.

Here's a web site devoted to them: http://www.er.uqam.ca/merlin/fd491499/nintendo/nes/

aaron7, thanks for that site. It is very helpful. I have a good size collection, but that site makes it easier to know what I have.

Great link, aaron7.

Regarding the gray carts: To answer that part of the question, the pirate carts that come from Hong Kong, Korea, (or Asia in general), are more often then not, light gray.
