What do you think? It looks pretty cool so far. Now imagine you could play the whole game multiplayer.
The developer of this hack hasn't released it yet tho.

Yea pretty cool stuff i saw this a number of years ago same guy has done a bunch of OoT hacks like putting mini arwings from starfox in as enemies or letting you play as shadow link.

Nintendo put the mini Arwings in as a test enemy. They're unlocked by Gameshark codes. He might have found the code, though.

Oh cool stuff i never knew that. very good chance thats what i saw because they were dead on from starfox 64 and they were doing loops and barrel rolls.

lol, yeah I saw screenshots of this years ago, back when the N64 was still having games made for it i think. I dont recall ever seeing players tootling round Hyrule like this though, just those screens of that room.

Id love to get a one off custom OoT 4 player cart made.

I don't see this being very easy to play. Everyone's stuck to 1 screen. 4-play split screen is annoying and the N64 doesn't have any system link function.

Id love to get a one off custom OoT 4 player cart made.Yeah, it would be really cool, if that guy would develop it and would sell it as a custom card.

Yeah, you're right. It would be just like Secret of Mana, being played by three players. But it would still be very cool. Two player splitscreen would be just fine, but four player split screen would be very annoying.
The problem about four players playing in one screen is, that none of the players knows what the others are going to do, and where you wanna go etc. But it works just fine in SoM, so I'm pretty sure it would work fine in OoT, too. But when the screen turns 3d, as in first person, then there would be a problem.
Anyway, I doubt he'll ever complete making the hack. It's hard as hell to do something like that. I bet it took him a long time, just making those four Link's playing in that tiny room.

I imagine the hardest thing to do would be to make sure the triggers are scripted in a way so that 4 players can actually still complete the main quest.

Yeah, that would be pretty hard to make. He should make that game like The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords in 3D. That would be cool.
