Also I don't understand why you would need to transfer your village to rent the game? Oh, maybe because the memory card you get with the game comes with a "surprise" and you don't get the memory card when you rent it?
It looks fun though! Our friends rented it and played it over here. It's not really a kids game only. The first conversation you have is with this cat on a train, and he asks you if your a psycho. It's funny :)
We should be getting a copy today, every village and the inhabitants are different with every game, so I'm excited to see what people are in my town.

If your friend keeps his village on a memory card, after you get yours up and running pop his card in and vist his town. This way you can collet different items, and if your lucky and his villagers like you they might come and move into your town.
