I just want to know if this is possible. I read somewhere that it was, but the link I followed did not give me the option.

That's ridiculous. Why would MS care? It's not like you're getting more points, just transfering them. I hate crap like that.

haha, I'm not microsoft - don't ask me,
you also cannot transfer your remaining xbox live subscription to different account.

no, I don't think you can "gift" anything on Live. Except trash talk, it is in abundance.

There is currently no gifting of games, no transfering points or anything that allows you to buy points for another user, unless that profile is on your box at the time.
