Okay, to start:
I've read every Gamefaqs walkthrough on this; and there's nuttin'.
In the Dreadnought Galaxy, on the 'Revenge of the Topman Tribe' star; you have to 'jump' from one of the grabby tractor-beam stars, to the shooting star that launches Mario to another planet.
HOW THE F--- DO YOU DO THIS?!?!?!
This is the sequence after you've passed through the grabby stars and the cannon balls. at the end is a launching/shooting star.
I've let go of the A button, I've spun while still held onto the tractor star, I've tried everything. It all results in me falling back down the gauntlet and probably getting shot once or twice.
Help.
P.S. Mario standing on the missile at the start of that sequence makes me reflexively start making Dr. Strangelove jokes.
