Two items I'm wondering if anyone owns, and they both involve T-shirts (I just want to see pictures, this isn't a WTB thread).

One is the Virtua Fighter "training pack". It was released before the 32X game came out, and included a VHS tape and tshirt in a box.

The other is the t-shirt and game bundle of Illusion of Gaia for SNES. From ads back in the 90s, I remember seeing that you could get a copy of the game bundled with a shirt. Shirts aren't normally a big deal, but it seemed like they actually put the game and shirt together in a blister pack....

I have the 32x pack, picked it up several years off of ebay. It also comes with a coupon for $5 (iirc) off Virtua Fighter for the 32x. If no one else has a pic, I will try to take one.

Can you post pictures of it?

My camera isnt the best, but here is a pic.

The coupon is $20 the game or $40 0ff the 32x system.

Someone needs to encode that video so I can add it to Sega-16's video library. :D

I don't have any pictures, but I remember a girl in high school with me would wear that Illusion of Gaia shirt.

haha cool, I just bought this shirt off of ebay after seeing this. Are there any more cool shirts they made?

The shirt was not in a box for Gaia, I got in a pre-order when I ordered it new from Babbages...

I'm experimenting with video encoding right now. I may be able to do this, eventually.

I just wish my stupid VHS deck had S-Video outputs.

There was a blister packaged set of Gaia and a T-Shirt. I know I have one, but it's in really deep storage. The shirt was really tightly folded and put in a square under the actual sealed game. I recall seeing these packs for years after I got mine (at an EB in Maryland) in those weird electronics department stores in downtown Los Angeles. Of course, trying to find them a year or two ago yielded nothing.

The Illusion of Gaia bundles were going for $50 about 2 or 3 years ago when I picked up mine. I haven't seen them since so I imagine they're worth more now.

Whoops, my mistake, either they gave it to me outside of packaging, or Babbage's did not give me the outer package

Hah, I bought one of those shirts a couple years back (in the original plastic) with the intent of wearing it. The thing practically disintegrated like a paper towel. Like, if you pulled the fabric at all, it would tear. :hmm:

Gotta love how the t-shirt says "one size fits all".

Yeah, I had the Illusion of Gaia T-shirt back in elementary school.
I don't think it was that fragile.
Mine ripped probably because I would stretch it over my knees as I sat. :P
But to last a couple years like that was probably pretty good.
