Has anyone had any experience with this compilation machine before?

I am thinking of saving up job money and having it be the first thing I buy. I love arcade games but its harder and harder these days to find a good arcade to play them. - Well that and my only local arcade is far away and just rid of a ton of classics.

I had posted a similar thread a year ago. People on the DP forums are very down on the compilation arcades. Everyone suggested I get someone to make me a MAME cabinent. I would love to see if anyone here actually has one of these multicades. There are several out there, and I'm still interested in them. But the price is very steep, so I defentially don't want to make the wrong decision. If you do buy this one, would you please send me a line on how you like or not. Thanks!!!!

Cool, and you know there are a couple other companies that make multicades. Some have larger screens and HD monitors, and of course different selection of games. Look into it a little. I remember reading that some brands have much better monitors and control setups then others. But there's not too many user reviews on them that I found. I do know that the Arcade Classics 2 that you want has many games that do not have the proper controls for. Lots of those Exidy games originally play with a gun , and of course Tempest and Warlords and i think Arkanoid played with a spinner. Playing those games with a joystick have got to be atleast a little awkward.
Anyway good luck, and I hope more people respond to your thread, I'd like to know too.

By the way there's a Midway cocktail multicade that had controls on all 4 sides so you can play Defender, joust and 8 others on their original screen size. Then there's 38 other games you play from the normal side. It seems pretty cool, but I remember it being crazy expensive!
I think for the money, getting a MAME cabinet may be our best option. You can get not only the 60 or so games that come in the Multicade, but virtually every game made. You can't really beat that. I just need to find someone that makes quality cabinents and who will be patient in teaching someone who is computer challenged on how to use and configure the thing.

I think I prefer the Arcade Legends 2 as it has the ball controller and CENTIPEDE. it would make my father very happy to be able to play Centipede with a rotating ball again - He hasnt seen one of those machines in a very long time.
