I bought the EEE PC earlier this year, hoping that it would work for my portable needs. It's too underpowered for what I was wanting to do with it so I've decided to go for a laptop. I upgraded the Ram on it (from 512MB to 2GB). It is in great shape and has no damage to it. The battery still keeps a good charge. I have good feedback on the forums and on ebay (user: ricoocir).

Asus EEE PC 701

specs:
2 GB Ram (upgraded from original 512MB)
4 GB Solid State Harddrive
Wireless & Wired LAN
Linux OS

I am hoping for around $180 + shipping but am willing to haggle some on the price. I will post some pictures this evening after work but decided to go ahead and get this thread out there to gauge interest. I also have a 16GB SD card that can be included for $15 more and an external DVD/CD drive (with all manuals/docs) that can be thrown in for an additional $30. Feel free to PM, post here, or send emails to me (namzep at yahoo dot com).

If you are interested in trading here are some of the the things I am currently interested in trading for:

These computers are really nice(if you don't plan on playing any games on them)

I have a 4gb as well and use it for internet only(and maybe a bit of torrenting) (and writing)
I take it everywhere with me to "borrow" internet.

I have the similar Aspire One which is brilliant.

For $200 shipped I would recommend this to someone needing an ultra portable computing device. free bump and recommend.

Also - namzep is an ace trader. :)

I know this might be a stupid question but...

Does it still have the manufacturer warranty and is it transferrable?

I'll admit...I am thinking about it...

It was purchased on January 8th of this year and it looks like there is a one year manufacturer warranty on it but I'm having trouble determining if it's transferable or not.

I'll get my list together and have it over to you later today. Highly interested in working out a trade. (and coupling with cash, too)
