Just got back from a vacation to one of the Indiana casinos. When I first walked in, I did a double-take as I saw this slot machine right there as I entered (not my photo - it's hotlinked from elsewhere):

House of the Dead EX Slot Machine! Played it a few times, but didn't care for the payout. Walked down another slot aisle and - I'll be damned - I found this one (another hotlink):

Shinobi Slot Machine! This time, the ninja goodness rewarded me with a few coins. I also saw a Double Dragon slot machine (but it was a generic "Asian themed" slot with nothing to do with the arcade game itself).
Anyway, has/does anyone remember seeing any other slot machines or gambling devices based on a video game?

I've been to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods in CT. I saw both games you have pics of there. I've also seen a pong one where the bonus game is a game of pong.

I've seen pictures of a few video game related slot machines (pachislo) and pachinko. Metal Slug and King of Fighters are the two I can can immediately think of. They even have small screen with, say, a 'game' of Metal Slug playing.
Never seen the ones you've posted though.

I've seen the Shinobi one at Golden Acorn Casino, north of where I live, between San Diego and Imperial Valley. That was the only video-game themed slot machine I saw there.
I also saw the same Double Dragon slot machine there. :p

A Metal Slug Pachinko machine would be a sweet home gameroom addition. Anyway, I know that there are some machines with Pong and Breakout themes in the US but I'm kind of surprised to see Shinobi and House Of The Dead machines here. As gamers get older though, I expect more games like this will be made to lure in the video gaming generation.

I own a Metal Slug pachislo, its ok but you have to play like 40 rounds just to get the screen to do ANYTHING. Big letdown once I got it....it looks really nice though.

There's also a Pac-Man slot machine and a Tomb Raider pachinko/pachislot.

Konami makes a lot of slot machines not themed after video games but they do recycle sound effects.

I think pretty much anything video game related has some sort of Japanese gambling machine associated with it. I definitely remember seeing a Mario Bros one when I was in Tokyo a few years back.

I own a tekken pachislo machine - I bought it because I'm a tekken fan, but this game is impossible.
