Anyone ever play this game on the system? I know I am not THAT bad at the game, but what the hell is going on here? I can barely get to the first boss! Any secrets/tips I should be aware of?

Avoid the dude in the brown cloak like the plague. He is invincible or something. Sometimes he just seems to dissapear (gets bored?) if you stick around for a while and do nothing.

No tips. Never played it. Heard it's inferior. But now that you mention it's really hard, I kind of want to see for myself.

Just thought I'd mention that AB is one of the very few (or only?) CD games to be incompatible with American Duo units. It's because the game checks for the exact version of system card it needs (1.0) to run... rather than "version #.## and higher". Since the American system card built into the Duo is 3.00 or so, the game doesn't work.

I'm not sure if using the JPN 1.0 card (plus a Hucard adapter) would get around it, but I have a feeling it would.

The version Ihave is actually a Hucard, not the CD version. It is up to par with the Genesis version graphically, but the sounds are not as good, and there are no voices of course. Makes you kind of miss "Rise from your grave!", but nonetheless it is a great port...just HARD!
