I completed this mod, in conjunction with a language mod. The eng/jp switch works fine, but somehow this one does not. When I flip the switch, the game will not boot if it is one position, and will only work in the other. If flipped during play, the game shuts off entirely. Now, I'm pretty sure if everything was fine, I would at least get some sound, or a black and white picture or something on my TV. I can take a picture of what I've done if it will help any.

I accidentally soldered when the console was on, and now it will not turn on anymore. Did I just ruin everything?

Why did you do that, silly boy?

Well, I had the switch flipped, so it wasn't really "on", nothing was on the TV, so I assumed it was off. Now it doesn't work sadly. I tried taking everything out, desoldering excess solder on the pads, connecting the contacts that I cut, to make it exactly like stock, but nothing. Shouldn't I have just blown a fuse, instead of ruining the whole thing?
