Sweet! I used to really like playing that game when it was in arcades :)

Congrats!!! That's a beauty AND a very fun game. How much does that game in that condition go for, money wise? I've read that Crossbow, operation Wolf and a couple other Exidy games are included in those Arcade Treasures/Multicade arcades. I just can't see how those games would be fun without the real gun mount.

I paid $400 for mine a couple weeks ago. Then paid $140 for new side art and CPO so all in all paid $540 for it. I am loving it :)

That looks pretty sweet but what do you do in it?

MAME that sucker...it's pretty primitive looking, like a Flash game, but like Cheyenne and the rest of the Exidy lightgun games there's a whole lot going on. I think it's fun. I wouldn't want to buy the fullsize arcade game but I'd sure plunk a few credits in there.

Why would someone MAME this cab? These should be restored to the original specs.

yeah, then we can modify other classics..what if we put mayo into a nice baked apple pie.
some classics are just left better unmolested...

Just giving you a hard time :)

Nonono, that's not what I meant.

I meant for jcalder to try it out in MAME.

Turning any Exidy machine into a MAME cab would be just about the worst suggestion ever.

Sorry for the confusion!

p.s. - I really like the castle battlement design on the front of the unit (with the traditional merlon / embrasure setup). The rest of the cabinet art is pretty decent too!

It's a light gun game, set in a medieval setting. Your party consists of non-player characters that, no matter what happens on screen, enter the left side of the screen and walk slowly to the right side. As you work your way across the map you will go through different terrains, each with unique obstacles and dangers. Your job is to shoot the obstacles using the light gun (the Crossbow) to keep your little people safe. The game is over when all your people die.
