Just clearing the air 10 years later.....

http://www.digitpress.com/archives/rompage_prototypes.htm

I just read this article and I must say I got a pretty good laugh!

Talk about sour grapes!

sean kelly wanted to dump the unreleased Intellivision games Robot Rubble and League of Light into the other released prototype carts I had (River Raid and Happy Trails which I had several copies of) and pass these as "originals." This way, "we" could make more money selling unreleased prototype games than released prototype games Wow! And if he denies this, he is a liar.

You mean the same guy that wanted me to sell him the original unreleased copies of Robot Rubble and League of Light for $100.00 each to his buddies at Blue Sky Rangers as a "favor." Which he claims was a "fair price." I ended up selling them on eBay for $400.00+ to $600.00 back in 1999....

Yah, what a piece of work this sean kelly is....Now who is the "asshole" lol!

Signed, sean kelly's "hero"

AFAIK Sean hasn't logged on here in years. You might want to contact him directly if your goal is to settle your differences. Otherwise, he has far more credibility here than an anonymous 3-poster.

It's not about "settling a score" its about an article that is still up on this site 10 years after the fact that is full of lies. By the way, at the time this was going on, I ask to talk to sean over the phone and the coward felt more comfortable being a tough guy typing behind his computer.

Credibility? lol! good one! Someone that mapped out and planned to scam others in the classic gaming community has credibility? Thanks for the good laugh, pal...

I guess you didn't get the memo....

P.S. I have nothing against Joe or anyone else here at DP. Just wanted to set the record straight. The mods can lock this thread anytime now.

Nobody "got" the memo because you aren't a regular in our forum.

So you could contact Joe and he could remove the article. Seems pretty easy to me if that's truly the issue. If you're so concerned about the article it doesn't make a lot of sense to draw everyone's attention to it, does it?

You mean like you're doing right now?

As one of the co-organizers of CGE, the creator of the Vectrex multicart, and one of the founders of DP, Sean has a tremendous amount of credibility in my eyes. And I don't even like the guy.

This is true, I should have contacted, Joe.

"If you're so concerned about the article it doesn't make a lot of sense to draw everyone's attention to it, does it?"

Nay, the guy is a complete jackoff. I just wanted to set the record straight since the article is still up and was updated two years ago.

"You mean like you're doing right now?"

You want to have a conference or something? lol! Sure no problem. lol!

Seriously....

If you consider outing a fraud "a garbage thread" have at it.

By the way, your buddy sean made it public with his lame article.

And there is a reason you don't like the guy, I'm sure.

Join the club! lol!

Your story doesn't even make any fucking sense, why would he have to dump one prototype cart into another? It'd be easier to pull the mask rom off of some retail cart and toss a eeprom on there if he wanted to scam people.

Either way, from both accounts of the story both you and Sean come off as giant tools.
