I finally got a hold of Body Slam Wrestling for the Intellivision after much searching. I drove it home the 700 miles from where I picked it up at (flea market), popped it into the Intellivision... nothing. Tried another Intellivision. Nothing. I've cleaned it, done everything I would normally do but still nothing but a black screen. I'd like to open it up, but for the life of me, I don't know how short of breaking open the plastic. Any ideas?

No screw at all, or one of those whack-ass triangular screw slots?

No screws at all, just what appears to be a glued on trapdoor on the bottom.

I use a light pressure and circular motion with some 600 grit sandpaper on really tough shit like that. Yeah, you could fuck the cart up, but right now it already doesn't work so what do you have to lose? After the sandpaper I clean the contacts with alcohol on a q-tip. I've used this technique probably 10 times (most often with Intellivision carts too) and have only had one cart that absolutely REFUSED to work.

You could get a fibergals brush from an electronics shop. Very fine abrasive brush, and you can get it pencil small. It's handy. I wouldn't use it on contacts unless it was my last resort. I have had success with it though. Likely safer than sandpaper, but I'm not familiar with 600 grit paper either..

Good Luck!
