This auction for Tooth Protectors was cancalled a few minutes before it was scheduled to end with more than 20 bids. Either there was no reserve or the reserve had been met the last time I viewed it. The only reason that I can think of for cancelling an auction RIGHT before it ended on its own is that the seller didn't like what it looked like he was going to get for the item. Isn't this illegal?

It is, and you can get his account canned. Email him and gently ask him why the auction ended. Slowly work him to get the answer "because $XX wasn't enough for me", then forward the series of emails to Safe Harbour. I've done this before ^_^.
