An inspired post from a couple of min ago. I was playing Enter the Matrix and was rounding the end of a long level. Out of no where a guy round the corner and takes me out with a shotgun. Needless to say I was furious and got in trouble for yelling. Can you remember any extremely frusturating moments in your gaming career?

I was just playing the Wind Waker, and there comes a point when you have to do 2 different temples, earth temple and wind temple. It marks both of them on your map... you can go to either one. So I go to the wind temple, learn the song, go to find the stupid little sage. What the crap, I can't find him. Search high and low all over the place in forest haven... turns out, for some unknown reason, you have to do the earth temple first. I searched for that little bastard for 20 minutes, I swore I wasn't going to use a walkthrough... used a walkthrough and found out "Note: Even though it seems like you should be able to do the temples in either order, you have to do the earth temple first"

ARGH. Not to mention the Earth temple was the most annoying dungeon ever.

I remember most of the robot masters in MM4 being bastards. Except for Toad Man, that sexy beast.

I can still never get very far in any Mega Man game. Darn things are hard as hell.

My frustrating moment would be the first fight with Sniper Wolf in MGS. I did this one twice. The first time, I took her out without a hitch. The second, she kept shooting me while I was aiming, thus knocking me off target so I'd have to aim again, and then she'd shoot me again....boy, did I get pissed.

Then there was the battle with Riku/Ansem in Kingdom Hearts. Strangely enough, I had little to no problem with any of the other bosses in the game, yet this guy took me at least a dozen tries. Every FAQ I looked in for help just said that he wasn't nearly as hard as Malifecent Dragon, whom I'd killed without any trouble. I'm starting to suspect there's some sort of remote difficulty-adjusting device someone's keeps using just to mess with my head.

on my birthday (cant' remember which one) I think I was turning 13 or 14. Me and 3 of my cousins were playing fifa 9x for saturn, and I lost to all of them, so after a while I got so mad I yelled SHIT and threw my controller and broke it and the parter out of my porch suddenly became quiet, and then I got a speach

Yeah, the "Autocide" mission on Vice City...kill seven guys in nine minutes. After about 20 tries I hit the last guy (who's on a motorcycle) head on at high speed with my car. As he's flying through the air, the timer reaches 0 and I get the "Mission Failed" blurb. Gah!

I did finally beat it last night though. Satisfying!

Some of those Mission Battles in Soul Calibur cause profanities to fly at the TV. Plus world 8-4 of Lost Levels on Mario All-Stars tends to set me off.

Fucking likewise. Of course, for me, it was more like an hour searching, but still that really pissed me off.

Also, in Circle of the Moon...my friend and I both recently got the game, and he had the griffin card, which I had somehow managed to miss. He says, "Yeah, one of those skeleton athletes dropped it." So I go up to the only hall in the game that really has those (the hall has about 6 or 7 seven everytime it resets), put on the luck ring, miracle armband, and the DSS to make my Luck + 25%, and I start killing. I keep going down the hall way, and all I'm getting are cotton clothes. Finally, I check an FAQ, and it too says that the skeleton athletes are indeed the enemies that drop the card. On my 27TH TIME THROUGH THE HALL, one of them finally drops it. Keep in mind, my luck value was huge, and I STILL had to kill (27*7 =) 189 of the damn things before I got the item. If I hadn't had info from someone else, and I was the only person to own the game, no way in HELL would I have ever gotten that card. That made me really angry.

Ok, first, Dead To Rights on the mine level. You're just walking along, happily trying to dead with the crappy camera when "AIEEEEEEEEEEEEE" you plummet down a hole that looked exactly like the rest of the floor. Do that say, 20 times and see how zen-like you feel.
Next up is Buffy on the Xbox - yep, same thing. The incredible invisible hole. Add this to some wonky collosion detection ("No, you can't hit me, your arm is three fett over my head!") and I got kinda pissed off.
Gunstar Heros..the last level..but I love it anyway.
Star Wars: Jedi Outcast - "So..errr...where now?"
The Matrix - "Damn you exploding barrels!"
Mortal Kombat 4 - "Why is Goro so fucking difficult? Why can't he do some
different moves?

Wow, I could go on for ages...but I'll stop there....

Oooooh hell yeah >:(

Was playing "Wonder Boy" on the Genesis back in the day..........

I was somewhere near the end and needed to purchase a certain
thing to proceed any further. It was stupidly expensive and i worked
out the only way to do it was the slow way :( Go in to the forest, kill the baddies, repeat untill enough cash.

After doing this for 2 hours a day for about 3 weeks,My younger brother decided to play the game for the first time.

He played for about 20 minutes(i was out at the time) And decided
his progress was worth saving.

S lo and behold-------------- SAVED GAME GONE >:( >:(

Never did et over that
