Does anybody remember a game called Loifer? (or something like that)
Gameplay was a guy on a very small ground effect vehicle on a water planet with no waves. Joystick forward with thrust goes under water, forward goes forward, side to side, etc.
Fire button shoots forward.
The little guy would sort of bounce and float above the water and moving felt a bit like being on ice (a little drift).
Gameplay is the guy slides around and tries to pick up a little things that skim across the water around rally buoys. First one has one thing to pick up, second one has two things to pick up, etc.
Around the buoys are various sorts of defenders: magnetic that grab you so you can't move well, things that bounce off you, things that trap you in a bubble (and you lose a life then), etc.
I am hoping to find some screen shots or maybe an emulator for it. It came on a single 3.5 floppy disk and played OK on an Apple II but better on the Apple IIc and clones.
