Are there any PSP collectors here who've managed to obtain a copy of this, or are planning to? I'd just be interested to see pics of the UMD and case.
Oh, and it's not a proper game as such, it's for training Hilton employees. Has there ever been any other such training applications available for other consoles in the past, or is this a first?

Are you sure it's a UMD? I searched for a while last night and saw no reference to the format it was in. It could very well be a download which is what Sony is moving to starting with Patapon 2 in a few weeks.

Patapaton 2 is just a 'test' case.
There have been numerous training applications done before. In a sense the Lightspan stuff for the PlayStation could be taken as training (though education is a more likely tag). The MACS system for the Super Nintendo was an Army rifle training system.
I know there are a bunch of other things released in Japan on the PlayStation that were training for science related jobs, and moving hazardous material.

Well, the whole idea of a test case is that if it works out, you start repeating what you did over and over again. There are already a number of games that were released in other regions for PS3 and PSP that are not available on UMD in the United States. I just imported Echochrome and I am getting ready to get Patapon 2 from the UK. Don't even get me started on Siren or any of the rest.
There are a number of industrial training games going as far back as the 3do and CD-i. This just sounds neat because it's on the PSP which doesn't exactly seem to have an overly abundant flow of games lately.

Yeah, I was meaning more corporate training than education. I'd be interested to see some of the stuff that came out for the PlayStation in Japan.
Is anyone here local to a Hilton Garden Inn? See if it's possible to confirm if this is on a UMD and possibly snap a couple of pics?
