Picked up a factory sealed copy of NES Wheel of Fortune featuring Vanna White (still has the Wal-Mart price tag in the upper right hand corner..$37.87, I think). Really good shape. This is the first sealed game I've ever found in the wild. Any idea what they're worth? It lists for 4 or 5 bucks loose.

Probably that. a lot of game show games aren't really expensive.

Yeah, I kinda figured no one is really hunting for a Wheel of Fortune game, but I hope with it being sealed it ups the value a little bit. Anyone think $20 is a fair assessment?

Funny - I just picked a complete (and near mint) one at a thrift shop. First CIB nes games I've seen at one of those in a LONG time.

My guess is that my CIB copy is worth 15 or so. It is an R6 I believe, so it is quite a bit harder to find than the other Wheel of Fortune games for the NES.

That said, my guess is that your copy is worth 30-40 bucks.

So what is the story behind it? Did you actually get it at a Wal-Mart?

Nope, got it at Goodwill. Only sealed game I've ever seen. I don't know where they get these things, I guess someone donates stuff like this to them after they find it in the back of a storage room. They rarely have NES games, unless its Baseball, Play Action Football, or SMB/Duck Hunt. I paid 3.50 for it.

Excellent find! :) Funny we found the same game at almost the same time. Yours is much cooler though. :)

If sealed NES games start popping up all over the place now it will just reinforce my theory about Goodwills getting the same item shipped to them from some main warehouse.

somewhere on this planet is a warehouse filled to the celing with sealed nes games. Kind of like the nazi gold in the alps.

It's an R4 here. (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=6260)

Further reinforces another theory of mine: A turd is still a turd, regardless of shrink-wrap. Who knows, there may be a sealed collector on here with a spare multi-cart or power glove willing to trade to it.

I'd say $5, if you can find anyone willing to buy it.

Try to get $37.87 for it returning it to Walmart - it's unopened media.

Holy crap. That's an awesome idea! I'll try that tonight.
