I recently came across an online store in Hong Kong selling Turbografx 16 games for a reasonable price. I was going to place an order when I saw that the games were "Japanese releases". The pictures they showed looked exactly like a TG16 HU card, and even said "Turbografx" on them. Since, as far as I knew, the Turbografx 16 was released as the PC Engine in Japan I thought this had to be a misprint. I emailed them and asked them to confirm that these were really Turbografx 16 games and not PC Engine games and my response back was:
"For the game in our homepage, they were not actually released as PC-Engine
games but TurboGrafx16 in Japan and are Japanese games."
My questions are this: Was there really a Japanese TG16, and if this is true, would it play on an American console since it is indeed, a TG16 HU card?
