Glutton for punishment-new 360

I am such a glutton for punishment. I've had a 360 since launch-it RROD after a year then the disc drive started acting up and final the graphics started to go crazy (sometimes work sometimes not!) so I went and bought a new 360 for 400 bucks! I know my sanity is now in question (or should be) anyway its the resident evil edition (red!!!) and best yet it is a nice step up (better PSU, cooler and quieter running, HDMI, huge Hard drive) I'm happy but a little annoyed they don't include a transfer cable with it.

oh and quick question just how limited edition are these RE units? guy on craigslist here wanted 400-500 dollars for his and stores don't seem to advertise that they have them nor will they say how many (I had to ask for them to dig one out of the back storage) they had it though! Any production #'s?

FYI there is some sort of online xbox transfer kit form. You can get it for free me thinks but you have to fill out a form with 2 valid serial numbers.

Well the good news is that you most likely have a jasper board, which is supposedly much more reliable and stuff. Just make sure to register it on xbox.com. As for the numbers of the RE bundle, I'm not sure but over here they are still very much available. Any place that sells them(Best Buy, Target, Toys R Us) still has them for sale. To be honest, I don't think they will go up in price much for the simple fact that Microsoft and Capcom didn't have enough forsight to put a RE or Umbrella logo anywhere on the console. But hey, you still got a red elite jasper and thats gotta count for something:)

yeah I filled out the form and faxed it-hopefully they get me the cable asap. Yeah its really weird that it has nothing but red paint on it (fine with me though) I hate how not limited these limited consoles and games are. Nice RE box and game included but a sticker/logo would have been wise.

Not red paint. It's red plastic. The less they put into it, the cheaper it is for them to produce.
