Hey all. I was wondering where I would be able to find a commodore 64 for cheap and a copy of "Lazy Jones" (the game with the music by David Whittaker that was sampled by Zombie Nation for their track "Kernkraft 400" which is routinely played at sports games) I love the soundtrack, but can't bear emulators with their god awful controls. Plus i would like to have a C64 for musical purposes. The SID chip (or what I've heard it was anyways) is just too awesome, and I can listen to the Lazy Jones soundtrack forever. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Getting a C64 is the easy part. As for a copy of Lazy Jones, well I believe it only came out on tape in the UK so you'd need a datasette; not an easy thing to find in the US because you used disks most of the time. But nothing that putting a copy of the game onto disk wouldn't solve. Have to see if it works okay in NTSC mode though...
First, you have to get yourself a C64 and disk drive...

Depending on your ethics/collecting wants you could probalby get a C64-to-PC setup easier, hook the C64 up to your PC and load a digital copy of the game in there.
Question is, has anyone dumped Lazy Jones? :)

I'm not so sure on what it means to "dump" a game, but i do have a ROM on it that I use on an emulator, although I don't enjoy playing with a computer keyboard, because the controls are awkward..

I'm glad I'm not the only person currently addicted to "Kernkraft 400". I even learned how to play it on piano (or in my case a Roland synthesizer). I just thought I'd say that I also really dig the C64's musical capabilities.
