Out of FreQuency & Amplitude, which is the better of the 2 that you'd recommend?

Maybe it's just me, but they PLAY very similarlly. A few differences here and there (Amplitude with the multi-player/online features in particular). The style of music you like is a bigger factor for solo gaming. The original is more 'rock' oriented, the sequel more 'techno' oriented.
My humble opinion. They're BOTH great games.

Actually, Amplitude is a bit more "mainstream", with rock/rap tunes thrown in. FreQuency is a bit more "underground", so to speak. Heavy on the Techno.
One's thing's for sure: Once you're used to playing Amplitude, the other is tough to get into. I'd personally recommend FreQuency first.
