red ring of death questions

I just got the red ring of death, the screen froze and when I turned It back on I got a bunch of random colored bricks, I waited a while and I turned it back on again, luckally it turned on normally. If this happens again I am still under warrenty but I have a few questions about the red ring of death

1 If I get it repaired do I get my game data back?
2 do I lose my xbox live profile?
3 Is their any way to copy my game data to a memory card?

come on, somebody must know something about the ring of death, Im really worried right now and I can barley think straight

All the data is stored on the detachable HDD and since the 360's hardware problems don't affect the HDD your data, profile, etc. should be fine. When you get the 360 fixed you should remove the HDD before sending the console in.

My 360 is fried, Im going to have to send it in =(

Also just remember to remove the faceplate when sending it in too.
