First off, I searched for awhile and did not come up with another thread like this so I thought it would be ok to post. I'm not asking how much these are worth but I'm wondering if its a big deal that I don't have the cardboard box they came in? obviously its hurts its value and what not but is it a big deal? I didn't realize it came with the box until after. Not so much of a Sony guy. Mostly a Sega guy so I'm wandering in uncharted territory.

Given how many millions of copies of each one of these games was pressed, I don't think there is much resale value on used copies anyway, so it doesn't really matter if you have the outer sleeve or not. The only versions that seem to have any value are the original releases sealed/mint. There were green label greatest hits, as well as "collector's edition" versions of both series which are basically worthless unless sealed and again, those aren't even worth much more than they were originally sold for.

ah yes, I knew there was a lot of copies. I didn't expect to get rich off it. I just like knowing that if I ever decide to sell it for whatever reason, I could get my money back and maybe a little more. I paid 5 dollars each for the 3 Spyro games and Crash Bandicoot Warped.

That's about what they are worth assuming they are mint.

Hell, my local Walmart still has copies of the Spyro Collector's box for sale. I think it was priced at $14.97.
