As a fan of Gas Powered Games this looks to be quite interesting. I don't visit GameStop often and rarely do they press a PC game these days, so instead I spotted it in Walmart today. The trailer builds hype (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vd8an0P5LI), gameplay looks fun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBZNRotoacQ&feature=related), reviews look positive (http://pc.ign.com/articles/974/974110p1.html) for the most part (X-Play has a decent review (http://www.n4g.com/pc/News-316470.aspx), kotaku does a little coverage (http://kotaku.com/5223353/demigod-review-aspiring-to-godhood)),

The problem for me is there are no demos available and this game is being pirated like crazy due to that fact. I'm curious if anyone has picked this game up and what you think about it. Considering they've been Beta testing for awhile now and reports are that Stardock plans on pushing out addiitonal content to the game along with fixing newly reported issues, is this a bust or going to be a sleeper? None of the PC gamers I know seem to know anything about this title and it crept up on me.

Everyone says it's a lot like Defense of the Ancients, but considering I've never played DotA (don't own Warcraft 3), it's multiplayer centric and there's no demo, I doubt I'll ever give the game a chance.

It's a shame there is no single player campaign. That alone killed it for me. Sorry, but skirmish mode is not enough. Too bad too. I certainly hope that is not the direction RTS games are taking. how hard can it be to throw together a campaign with some crappy acting/videos?

Yeah, I'm disappointed with the lack of a solid single player campaign. 'Battle Forge' which was recently released and looking decent had the same issue. I think I am going to settle for 'Elven Legacy', which seems to be a little lighter on production values, but has carries a single player campaign -- demo available, not very little tutorial...
