I've been thinking about grabbing an SFC lately, and was wondering about what they are worth? I don't want to pay too much, since I have a convertor for my US SNES...I'm thinking about $30-40? Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Edit: I see they are only like $18 on amazon.co.jp, so I guess like $30 is about right.

If you want one for the collectibility, yes. If just for functionality, you can remove the plastic tabs from the SNES. Not much of a "lockout".

Right, I know about that. I just want one so I don't have to alter my SNES. I even have an SFC convertor, but I don't like it since it makes it stick up higher.
