The Turtles are back, and looking very nice in 3D. In development for Live, with the possibility of PSN/WiiWare versions too. This is totally awesome. Four player online Ninja Turtles arcade game, but with flashy new graphics. Cowabunga. Dudes.

I'm still looking forward to TMNT: Smash Up (http://www.tmntgame.com) on the Wii too.

Finally, a 3D TMNT game that won't suck?

Wow that looks great. Here's hoping it plays okay.

Here's hoping they actually have the SNES version of the game as an unlockable -- by that I mean the SNES version, remade in this style as well. :D

Well if any of you guys in the US live in or near any of these cities (http://www.tmnt25.com/road_trip.html), you could potentially have a go on the Alpha build being demonstrated. If any of you do manage to attend any pics or videos would be appreciated.

This almost makes me want to get a 360.

It looks ok, but it's all about how it plays.

TURTLE POWER! Just another reason to love the 360 Live Arcade. Turtles In Time was the first arcade game I ever beat IN the arcades, with people. It was a huge team effort and we were juiced after it was all over with. I think we ate pizza as a celebration.

Ah, to be a kid in the late 80's early 90's!

I actually think the character models look like cheap CG models. The backgrounds look great, but this isnt the final build. I certainly hope that it isnt a remake, my SNES version works just fine.

It looks alright, though I'll have to see it in action to have a better opinion of it. Mmm that lady dressed up kinda like April 'O Neil in that other picture at Joystiq was hot. Too bad she won't come with the game :P

Why not simply port over the original arcade Turtles in Time? Seems kinda dumb to see it like this. Hate it.

Fuggit. I'd rather have a 6 player X-men Arcade port for XBLA. Now that'd be sweet.

Who's to say it -won't- have the original as an unlockable or as a full game from the get-go?

Also, forget about X-Men. Look at how much shit Capcom had to go through to get Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on PSN/XBL. I give up on that and The Simpsons.

Is this gonna have the original music, or will it be "re-done" like the last time.

omg... this is sooooo purchased!!!!

that would be the 3rd game i pay for on xbl. (castle crashers being hte first, with alien homonid being 2nd because of the sale).

PS: smash-up looks awful.

Why not simply port over the original arcade Turtles in Time?Because it's already unlockable in TMNT 3: Mutant Nightmare ?

I hope this comes out on PS3 or Wii as well, so I can play it. I always loved this game on SNES.

I know it's besides the point, but maaaaan. I wish they would offer physical copies for purchase of titles like this. Probably not economical, but even a mail order disc in a sleeve would be great.

Agreed. That's why I always pick up the XBLA compilations whenever I see one. Hopefully as people buy 'em, they'll produce more.

This is nice and all but I want a TMNT: Hyperstone Heist remake.

"Hyperstone" was/is pretty much a reworked "Turtles in Time" anyway.

It'd be awesome if they offered Hyperstone as an unlockable. They could reuse most of the assets from Turtles in Time.

One of the few xbla games I'd buy. I can't wait for this to come out.

True but it's the version I'm more accustomed to.

It was also a bit of a reworking of the original TMNT arcade game (Rocksteady, human Baxter) as well as the NES port (cobbling together/upgrading the NES bonus stages). And it also had the only videogame version of Tatsu, which was a rather unique TMNT boss battle.

I saw an video on youtube and playability looks bad, you can walk on scenario like mario on mario 64! Very weird for an linear beat'em up

I'm really not sure what you mean?

But you guys do realize that the game being demonstrated is an alpha build? That means it's really early in the development cycle and nowhere even nearly finished.

Love both Turtles in Time and Hyperstone Heist...hopefully it plays great and has the original unlockable (which was already touched upon).
