According to the Gamestop website, and corroborated by Amazon and Kotaku, the Klonoa remake for the Wii is due to ship on 5/5, but my local Gamestop stores are already selling it at the price of thirty dollars. Not a bad deal all around. Of course, I picked it up.

I'm not sure if this is a company wide phenomenon, but if you're interested in the game, it might be worth your time to call around. And, for what it's worth, it's fantastic.

Game probably isn't street dated. Usually whenever a store gets a game it can put it out, except for the big releases.

Thanks though. Im going to try and pick this up tomorrow!

Street dates are garbage anyway. Just let the store sell them when they get them in! I don't care what the thing is. Game, DVD, game console...

Hasbro is street dating Transformers movie toys. TOYS! There's no legit reason to street date toys!

Um, yes there is. Those toys often contain spoilers for the movie.

We knew of Deadpool's horrible horrible fate weeks before the movie came out because of someone posting pictures of the poor guy's action figure. ;_;

I had a friend who had preordered the game, and I took her to pick it up on thursday or friday last week. They even called her to tell her that it was in...?

Odd.

This has been going on for years. They even blacked out the Ewoks on the back of Star Wars action figures in 1983 so the surprise wasn't ruined.
