Finally! BlazBlue is due for a Japanese and US release on June 25th. The 360 and PS3 versions feature different cover art (at least in Japan) which is very nice. But you lucky guys in the US are getting these absolutely lovely looking Limited Editions for about $65.

Unfortunately, 505Games in the UK have yet to announce any sort of European release date. And I very much doubt that we'll get anything more than a standard release :(

I got a reserve for the PS3 version. I've played it at Arcade UFO downtown, and was immediately hooked. June 25th can't come soon enough.

If that's the correct price on it I'll be picking up the LE for sure

I wish I were interested in the game itself, because that is a king among special editions. Truly a collector's item.

GameStop have it on their front page as $59.99. It's also about the only US video game store chain that I know the name of....

I made sure to get the four disc set when I preordered, and the price was no different than the regular edition: fifty nine ninety nine. According to the gentleman behind the counter, the first run of Blazblue will be this four disc set, and all other runs after that will be the standard one disc. The other three discs are the entire two disc soundtrack, and a collection of high level matches and gameplay tips from top players.
This might actually be a REAL collectors edition, though I'd like some confirmation of the above by other folks.

I came.
The 2D fighting game scene is back, and I am loving every moment of it. I only wish there were more tournaments in my area :(.
Another day 1 purchase after preorder right here.

No matter where you buy it from at launch, it comes with the Premium Pack bonus items of the two disc soundtrack and the play tips DVD. Given the niche nature of this game, I would be shocked if a non-premium collector's edition ever comes out, but I still think it's neat that they aren't charging extra for this like most other publishers. Amazon and Gamecrazy and both carrying it and I went with Amazon because of the no-tax and 10% ECA discount and free shipping. which makes it $54 total.

I already pre-ordered it, this game is really solid, and beautiful to look at.

Truth. Extra content at base cost is a Hell of a deal.

I'll pick the game up but will wait until it reaches 19.99. It doesn't look like the game has too high of a fanbase so hopefully there are enough special edition versions to hold off for that 40 dollar price drop we'll most likely see in a couple of months.

All the guilty gear players are going to get this.
The game looks pretty good. I'm probably going to try and main Taokaka and maybe Arakune.

Arakune is the character I used when I played in the arcade, he has some ridiculous attacks and his Drive attack(basically a "super"), is rather awesome, even if it doesn't do too much damage. The ability to become invisible is also quite handy.

I preordered as well, but from GameStop. They are including an art book for all *online preorders* only. So, I'll be getting that beautiful LE and the exclusive art book. I love me some art books.
Edit: Here's a pic of the art book cover in case anyone is interested.

No, sorry I should have worded that better. So far there's no indication of a European release. I emailed 505 Games to establish what the situation is but it's been 4 or 5 days now and still no response. I understand they may not be able to give too much away due to legal arrangements and the such, but I was at least hoping they could confirm a UK release at some point.
I'm currently on a mission to obtain a US Ltd Edition. I'm also going to see what happens with KoF XII, it's UK release and if any Ltd. Editions are announced for it.

Man I hope I get the artbook from EBgames online. I preordered but the art book is on backorder >.< That cover is pretty slick.
