Does anyone know anything about it? I was browsing Satakore when I noticed that Saturn games have a very different rating system than CERO, instead going by colors and kanji.
I've been trying to find information on this rating system, like its name, but my searches have been fruitless. And I sent a message to the Satakore guy, but he never replied.
Can anyone help?

Looking at my stack of import Saturn games I see three color ratings boxes:
Green: everyone
Yellow: 18 and older
Red: 18 and older(supposedly more graphic than yellow ones)
Then you have games like Castlevania: Symthony of the Night that has no color rating on it at all. Hopefully that helps alittle bit.

Oh I've already figured out the ratings, I'm just trying to figure out the official name and who was behind it. Was it like the ratings system the Genesis had for a while?

This isn't CERO.
It was established on July 2002 as a branch of Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association, and became an officially recognized non-profit organization on 2003.
This rating was exclusive to Sega Saturn games released in Japan. It preceeded CERO by two years.
