I've finally started scanning the back issues of Tips & Tricks in earnest, and have all of my Collector's Closet articles from Oct 2001 thru May 2002 online. I'm only permitted to upload a year-or-older columns, however; so you'll always see this lag here.

Enjoy!

Some are a bit tough to read and not because of the big words.

GREAT! I scanned all of them a couple of weeks ago when I discovered them. Although in danger to sound like an advertisement, I liked the sections of the magazine so much that I bought the last issue of T&T and think about subscribing. It's sad, but true. :)
Your section and also sections about the FF series in the last issue sets the magazine really apart from other mags. I like very much the 'Classic GameInformer" of GI, but your section about collecting goes much more in depth. Although I'm not a not a collector, just a game nut, it's just great to read about older games, rare hardware, and supply/demand processes of collectible games.
In my opinion, your section and the FF section of the recent issue was more worth than the entire mag. The editors should expand the sections (twice the pages) because they are unique and I'm convinced the main reason why the mag is bought.
In short: great job, keep it up!
Note: great game room, Achika! I also loved Oobgarms room in the last issue (holy schmoly, how many PS1 games does the guy have? :) Great setup of both rooms.

Why thank you, Mr. Lendelin!
I have a one-shot column in EGM coming up in December, more of a collecting "primer" than the detail you see in T&T each month.

I'll pick the Dec. issue of EGM up. I'm currently subscribed "only" to Nintendo Power, GI, and GamePro.
...and...well...you can call me lendelin. :)
Seriously, I am very impressed with the section. For someone like me who discovered the game collecting scene a year ago, it's a fantastic read. I learn a lot....another indicator that the sections are good is the sad fact that I read the entire 4 pages before I downloaded them. You sure present the topic in a clear, understandable and interesting way.
