I swear I just saw this at a flea market. Is this a rare game?

Nope, there is no Pac-Man World game for the NES. There's Pac-Man and Pac-Mania, so you probably saw one of those or a strange overseas bootleg.

Pac-Man World IS a neat-o game on the PlayStation though. :)

I liked pacmania, nothing better than being able to jump over the ghosts and play on lego land.

I'm pretty sure a NES collector I know has a cart with pacman world on it..I'm not exactly sure..

I'll have to ask him when i see him again..
BUT.,,,it's not a US cart..It's a Japanese multi-cart that has a bunch games on it. levels..and I think different pacman games..
It's in the size of a standard US cart and will play on a US system...
I think it was white or grey..
It looks like a game that would of been sold cheap.....maybe in Japan..like if it was a bootleg.

The sticker "pacman world" is small on the top of the cart..
I'm not absulutely sure because it's been awhile since I saw it..

He got it at a flea market too.
We had went to a Flea market together..and I found a vendor selling Famicom games..
I bought up the Famicom games and he bought the weird Pacman looking game.
I remember him telling me it had a bunch of games on it but they were the same game at different levels.

I could be wrong on this..but I know he's got a muti-cart with Pacman on it.

I have a hunch the game you guys are seeing is 'Pac Land', a game that was brought to the NES either by pirates or in Japan only, not sure which. It was an arcade release, and is basically a platformer. It probably got renamed in order to cash in on the recent pac man world franchise.

That could be it..

I know the label on his cart was cheaply made.

I passed it up..I had first dibs though..I didn't like the look of it.
It had a real cheap look to it..I was grabbing all the Famicom games quick.
He said he wanted it after I passed on it..
I'll kick myself if this was/is or to become some rare game someday.

Pac-Mania is still a good find for the NES - and a very good game. :)

Well,
it aint on here, so it's either really rare or a pirate.
