Ok I got my hands on a cheap broken DS Lite. It is exhibiting the signs of a blown fuse or 2(the F1/F2 error). I know where the fuses are and own a multimeter, but do not know how to test them. What setting do I set the multimeter(I assume ohms, but may be wrong) to and what value should I look for if it is a blown fuse? Thanks all.

The vast majority of multitesters usually have an icon that looks like a diode schematic. That's the one you want.

And there's usually a symbol like this: ) ) )

That will let you hear if the fuse is open or closed. Test it out by touching the meters leads together first, then across the fuse. If the fuse is good you'll hear a sound.
