I have this strange feeling you will get at least half of what he did! People go crazy for the cd version for some reason...

It was over $200 when I received an offer I could not refuse.
PS some bidders are absolutely INSANE these days.

Joe, you dont have to answer this of course, im just asking as i like to keep an idea of what prices things are getting, but what was the final price, its interesting as the last few copies i know of went for 685 and 300+, i know i sure as hell didnt pay that for mine, infact i got mine in a trade..
anyways no presure to answer, if you feel like letting us know thats cool.

I really think Bonk 3 (Hucard AND CD) should be listed in the next guide at a much higher price range. R8 is correct IMHO, but I'll be damned if I can ever get the game for $50 anywhere...

Sources tell me this one went for $300, but what i cant understand is why!
Joe, cant blame you for taking the auction down, its just stupid what people are paying for some turbo gear recently..

Surely you jest!
1. Post auction.
2. Promote auction.
3. Entertain ridiculous offers from outside bidders.
(without #2 there often is no #3)

Exactly! It seems that alot of more desperate buyers are checking out this site before hitting ebay, to save them the trouble to get those hard to find titles. I know Dave was joking, but it is unbelieveable what some of these games are going for right now. If Joe is pulling an auction before it should close, I can just imagine the offer had to be quite insane!
Nothing wrong with auction self-promotion on this board! It seems to help with the offers or bids (just look at dave2236's 3DO auctions that closed on ebay this week, nearly $2000 for 76 3DO games, promoted here on DP).
I think there are just a bunch of buyers that desperately want to complete their collection ASAP and are not willing to wait for an entire auction, or get sniped at the very end or for the price to back down to a more realistic level.
But I still would like to know how much you got for that stadium events. :D :D :D But obviously that is up to you.

The way I see it Joe's doing the community a favor by keeping quiet about what those games ended up going for.
