View Full Version : Capcom Fighter Power Stick on European SNes?
I got a cheap Capcom Fighter Power Stick recently, which somehow doesn't seem to work on my Snes. It might be defective, I don't know.
However, the manual only mentions some US addresses, which is a bit unusual for a product bought here in Europe. This made me think that it might be a US controller...would this even work on a PAL SNes or is the pad truly defective?

Yes, it was only a USA and Japan release to my knowledge. I've seen posts before about people having problems with NTSC controllers on PAL systems (and vice versa), so that's probably the issue.

pretty sure its american. you'll need to mod your SNES's controller port board to work with american/japanese controllers. i forget how to do it, but you can find a tutorial online

i imported a japanese one back when it was released and never had any issues with it on my PAL system.
Thanks a lot for the answers! As I'm rubbish at soldering...:(
But nevermind, it looks cool, I didn't pay a lot for it (and I could still flog it on, he)
